According to Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne, the collaborative album between his band and Ke$ha, Lip$ha, is no more.

Coyne announced the sad news for lovers of freak-pop via his Twitter.

"As of now ...sadly there will be no Lip$ha.... I can't say why... It is sad..." Coyne wrote.

Ke$ha has been locked in a struggle with RCA and Dr. Luke over control of her own musical direction. While Coyne didn't explicitly say so, many fans are postulating that Dr. Luke is behind the sudden cancellation of the much-anticipated crossover project.

Of course, Coyne recently announced that the Flaming Lips had parted ways just for the hell of it on Twitter. So, this all could be another big joke from the oddball performer.

What do you think? Is Lip$ha no more? Are you sad to see it go?
