Justin Bieber's 'Today Show 2012 Summer Concert' Rocks Fans: Singer Performs 'Boyfriend' 'Baby' [VIDEO]

Justin Bieber performed at the Rockefeller Plaza on Friday morning for the "Today Show 2012 Summer Concert Series" rocking hundreds of fans that had been camping out since Tuesday to see him.

Many of her fans haven't probably been so close to their idol before. Bieber was performing just inches away from them and holded their hands as he sang hits like "Baby," "As Long As You Love Me" and "Boyfriend."

When he performed his recent single "Boyfriend," the fans sang along with him and shouted with great excitement.

"I think (this album) is about proving people wrong and going out there and making good music and going out there and performing better than everyone else," Bieber said in an interview with the Today Show Matt Lauer before his performance.

"That's what I have to do to cross over (to being an adult performer). Or else I'll just be another teen heartthrob, and I want to be remembered."
