R&B newbie Jhene Aiko released her new EP, Sail Out, November 11th along with the official video for "The Worst." The release has been long awaited since Aiko dropped her debut mixtape, sailing soul(s), back in 2011.

Vibe recently reviewed the EP. On "The Worst," Aiko sings about a relationship gone sour and the struggles of finding closure. Her lyrics are proof that not every love story has a happy ending. In her normal fashion, Aiko speaks bluntly but keeps it sexy at the same time.

Hopefully this next release will be enough to hold off fans until Aiko releases her highly anticipated album Souled Out, which Aiko says has been completed.

"The album is done. Production-wise, final touches and mixing are still left. I'm always recording more songs. I'm working on the next and the next project. In my dream world, the album would come first quarter of next year. For sure, 2014 though," Aiko said in a recent interview.

Aside from working on her album, Aiko has been having a busy year. She has been featured on tracks with Big Sean and Drake. Her appearance on Drake's 'Nothing Was the Same' album has even landed her appearances on his "Would You Like a Tour?" alongside Miguel and Future.

Moody and even kind of thought provoking, Aiko's new project is sure to provide just enough bars for the guys and enough lyrical comfort for the women.
