Ke$ha must have quite a bit of time on her hands after her Flaming Lips collaborative album Lip$ha fell through (most likely thanks to the meddling of Ke$ha's label and Dr. Luke). The "Tik Tok" singer has penned a piece for Rolling Stone that eulogizes HBO comedy Eastbound & Down,

There's this one episode of Eastbound & Down where he comes running onto a baseball field in Mexico with an American flag tied around his neck, jerking off to the crowd with fireworks going off. It reminded me so much of myself that it scared me. And made me proud, at the same time.

When my music first came out, my sense of humor was kind of lost in translation. I was like, "Man, they don't know I'm in on the joke!" But then I saw Eastbound & Down, and I knew Kenny Powers would totally get me. We're both oblivious, missing social cues about what's appropriate. We both have a really dark and obscene sense of humor, which my publicists tell me I have to tone down. But Kenny doesn't tone it down. He owns that shit. I am proud to be his female embodiment.

Yes, jerking off toward a crowd while fireworks went off in the distance reminds Ke$ha of herself, which is...kinda awesome. While we have all claimed Kenny Powers as our spirit animal at some point over the series' run, I don't think anyone rightfully deserves to say it as much as Ke$ha.

The skank-pop songstress also admitted that she really wanted to guest star on EB&D, and ride a Jet Ski with Danny McBride. However, it was not to be. So Ke$ha was content to send the show off with a "Fuck yeah, Kenny Powers."

What do you think of Ke$ha's piece on the end of Eastbound & Down?
