Joaquin Phoenix steps out with new love interest DJ Allie Teilz

Joaquin Phoenix, 39, has recently gone public with his new love interest who has now been identified as 19-year-old DJ Allie Teliz. Pictures of the couple sparked speculation to find out who the young blonde was on the arm of the Walk The Line star who is currently promoting his latest film, Her.

The couple was photographed in Italy after dining at Il Matriciano, a restaurant near the Vatican, according to E! News. They then ventured to meet with filmmaker James Gray at San Pietro and Gianicolo hill. Phoenix worked with Gray on 2000's The Yards and 2007's We Own the Night. Phoenix will also appear in Gray's next film, The Immigrant.

In an interview with Bullett, Teliz shared a bit about her jet-setting lifestyle as a young artist, coming from Arizona and now living in New York City.

"When I was younger I used to work production for arena shows in Vegas and Palm Springs, and I did artist relations for pop stars," she said. "On Thursdays after school I would go from school to the airport, fly to Vegas, work the shows from 6am Friday until Sunday at 2am, before school. I had a complete double life and lied about my age, obviously, but I was really getting involved in the music world and starting to meet people."

Beyond her apparent affection for Phoenix, she does have another, perhaps unexpected, person of interest that she spoke openly about with Bullett: "I've always thought R. Kelly was my spirit animal. One of life dreams would be to work for him. I would love to be R. Kelly's bitch. A lot of the problems with being a girl in the industry is being sexualized, but I'd be a Liz Lemon in R. Kelly's world."

We shall see how long the love affair between Phoenix and Teliz lasts (assuming R. Kelly doesn't adopt her as his own spirit animal).
