Jean Claude Van Damme 'epic split' Volvo ad goes viral [VIDEO]: Martial Arts star (53) perfects insane flexibility stunt between two trucks [WATCH]

Jean Claude Van Damme is a popular Belgian martial artist, actor, and director. He's 53-years-old... and still as supple as ever!

The "Sudden Death" star performed an "epic split" between two large trucks for a recent Volvo commercial. And yes, the vehicles are moving. The stunt is awesomely insane (and looks extremely painful) - but not for Van Damme! Check it out:

Enya's hit song "Only Time" makes the clip just that much more dramatic.

The ad starts with a close-up of Van Damme's face, and he says, 'I've had my ups and downs... My fair share of bumpy roads and heavy winds. That's what made me what I am today... Now I stand here before you. What you see is a body crafted to perfection. A pair of legs engineered to defy the laws of physics and a mindset to master the most epic of splits."

Van Damme maintained his steady, even pose throughout the entire amazing stunt. It's pretty cool to watch.

The commercial then states - "This test was set up to demonstrate the stability and precision of Volvo Dynamic steering. It was carried out by professionals in a closed-off area."

FYI - Van Damme is well-known as the  "Muscles from Brussels." Makes sense.
