Saturday Night Live Recap [VIDEOS]: November 16, 2013, Lady Gaga Hosts and is the Musical Guest on SNL with special guest R. Kelly!

This week’s episode of Saturday Night Live featured a rare occurrence with the host also being the show’s musical guest. Considering the host was Lady Gaga, audiences wouldn’t expect anything else from the ARTPOP songstress. Was she over the top or withdrawn? How did her musical performances compare to her comedic acting? Well here’s your chance to find out those answers and more!

We start with one of the best cold opens of the season. Saturday Night Live addressed some recent controversies involving Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and 60 Minutes. Both were subject of hot news topics over the last two weeks, so mixing them into this cold open was a great move on SNL’s part!
