More Details on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Thor 2 The Dark World Episode

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will air its episode dealing with the fallout from the movie Thor: The Dark World on Tuesday night, and actress Chloe Bennet has revealed some more information about the content of the episode.

Bennet told "Spoiler Chat" at E! Online that the episode will focus heavily on Agent Ward (Brett Dalton) and his story:

"Shannon: I'm super excited that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is going to deal with what happened in Thor 2! What can you tell me about that episode?

We're glad you asked, because we just got the scoop from Chloe Bennet herself: "It is the aftermath of Thor, and we kind of go to clean up the mess that these great-looking gods so easily came down to make, and we find an Asgardian relic, and that relic, when you touch it, it makes you have this internal and external rage, and it emotionally and physically kind of, for lack of a better word, effs you up....It's a big episode for Ward. I can't wait for people to learn more about his backstory. And ladies can expect to see Brett Dalton with no shirt on, so if you didn't have a reason to watch it, you now do.'"

This episode marks the first major, direct link between Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and any of the films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show has made numerous references to The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, etc., but has never had such a direct and immediate response to something that happened in any of the movies.

The episode airs at 8 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday on ABC.
