The Nov. 18, 2013 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from The Bridgestone Arena in Nashville for "Raw Country." The show begins with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, who say they proved last week how important they are to the show despite allegations of abuse of power.
Triple H says last week was chaos but they are back now and ready to handle business. WWE Champion Randy Orton comes out angrily and says he blames them for Big Show's attack on him last week. He says he is their biggest asset and they should protect him. Stephanie somewhat agrees but Orton says he will not be able to face Big Show at Survivor Series and demands answers. Triple H makes him back off and says it's their company. He tells Orton to watch how he speaks.
Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero and Raw General Manager Brad Maddox come out to apologize for last week. Maddox says it was all Vickie's fault, but Triple H says they will all pay tonight. Stephanie says they abused the handicap match last week and must understand how tough a match can be, so she books Vickie against WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee. Triple H says Maddox will also fight right now in his suit against Orton in a no disqualification match. Maddox tries to retreat but Kane comes out and forces him into the ring.
Maddox gets in the ring slowly but runs away quickly. He grabs a microphone and says they do not have to fight. He tries to run but Orton catches him at the barricade. The champ tries to pull him into the ring but Maddox nails him with the microphone. He shoves Orton into the ring post, gets into the ring and hits a swinging DDT for a two count. Orton fights back and hits a hangman's DDT from the barricade. He steps on Maddox's forehead and hits him in the face with the microphone numerous times. The referee pulls Orton away and calls for the bell.
Big E. Langston faces Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental Championship and captures his first singles belt when he plants Axel with the Big Ending for the pin.
Randy Orton and The Shield are backstage watching the match and Orton remarks that there is a new Intercontinental Champion, but there better not be a new WWE Champion at Survivor Series. He says he has spoken to The Authority and The Shield will have his back. Roman Reigns says that's fine, but Orton better return the favor. The champ nods.
Jerry "The King" Lawler is in the ring for Divas Musical Chairs. The whole thing eventually breaks down into a brawl with the Total Divas standing tall in the ring at the end.
The Big Show faces Ryback next and, in an impressive feat of strength, Ryback lifts Big Show onto his shoulders and hits Shell Shocked, but Show kicks out. Ryback goes for it again but Big Show hits him with the KO Punch for the pin. Orton tries to attack the big man after the match but Show was ready for it and spears the champion.
Zack Ryder is backstage talking to Florida Georgia Line when 3MB approaches. They call themselves the Rhinestone Cowboys and leave the real band confused.
Orton is backstage holding his ribs. He demands ice from the doctor and questions aloud where The Shield and The Authority were. He mutters to himself that he has to do it alone.
The Real Americans are in the ring for a tag team match against Kofi Kingston and The Miz. Kofi fights Jack Swagger and tries to tag Miz, but Miz jumps off the apron, throws his hands in the air and just looks at Kofi. Swagger puts Kofi in the Patriot Lock and Kofi taps.
Vickie Guerrero pretends to pass out backstage. Doctors try to take her out on a stretcher but Stephanie catches them and tells them to take her to the hospital right after they take her to the ring. They literally wheel her to ringside. AJ comes out with Tamina Snuka. Vickie pretends to faint again. The referee gets her some water and the match starts. Vickie runs, but Tamina gets in her way. Vickie tries to run but AJ skips over to her and drags her back into the ring. AJ asks her if she is okay and fans her before she locks in the Black Widow, and Vickie taps immediately. Vickie faints again outside the ring.
Triple H is backstage with Dolph Ziggler and Damien Sandow and says the two men have had their differences in the past, but tonight they will have a Broadway Brawl. Triple H says even he does not know what that means, but he knows they will make it entertaining.
The Broadway Brawl begins with a bunch of musical equipment in the ring. Ziggler ends the match by hitting Sandow over the head with a snare drum, a bass drum and an acoustic guitar before he pinned him.
Triple H and Stephanie are backstage when Orton storms in demanding to know where they were. He says he deserves respect as the champion and demands to know if they have his confidence as the face of the WWE. Stephanie says they were just talking about that and they need to think about it.
World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, with a sling on his left arm, is with Florida Georgia Line and welcomes them to Raw before he heads for the ring. He comes out after the break and shows a clip of Alberto Del Rio's attack on him from last week on Raw. He then shows the clip from Smackdown when Del Rio attacked him again after their arm wrestling challenge. Cena says it's thanks to the fans that he came back so quickly but wonders if he pushed too hard to come back. He even questions if he should be champion but when he looks at the fans he realizes he should be the champ. He talks about how a champion should have heart and pride, not parlor tricks and cheap shots. He says he will beat Del Rio in front of his hometown crowd and his family in Boston and ends his speech with "the champ is here."
Del Rio's music hits and he mocks Cena for a bit as he walks to the ring. He challenges Cena to hold up the belt with his left arm right now. Cena says he will be ready Sunday, but Del Rio says he will be ready to get embarrassed. He says a real champion takes advantage of every opportunity, and he sees one right now. Cena agrees with him, rips off the sling and attacks Del Rio. He tries to hit the AA but Del Rio escapes over the top rope and retreats up the ramp.
3MB, as the Rhinestone Cowboys, come out to face R-Truth and his new partner, Xavier Woods. The NXT star picks up the win when he hits the Honor Roll and the Lost in the Woods on Drew McIntyre.
Backstage, Triple H and Stephanie say they absolutely have confidence in Orton, which is why Orton will have no interference and no help from The Shield at Survivor Series. Triple H says when he wins, he will have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he deserves to be the face of the WWE.
Florida Georgia Line performs "Round Here," the official song of "Raw Country."
The 12-man tag team match main event then gets underway with CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Goldust and the Usos against The Wyatt Family and The Shield. After the match breaks down and some fast and furious action takes place (with a series of finishers), Punk hits Dean Ambrose with the GTS and pins him for the win.
The Real Americans come out after the match to join the Wyatt Family and The Shield, but Rey Mysterio's music hits and he helps clean house. He hits a double 619 on Luke Harper and Jack Swagger. Punk hits Harper with the GTS and Bryan gets in a running knee. All seven faces celebrate in the ring with a "Yes!" chant as the show goes off the air.
