This weekend, the 50th anniversary special episode of BBC's iconic series, Doctor Who, will finally air and we can celebrate early with some brand new clips that premiered earlier this week. Watch as David Tennant and Matt Smith interact for the first time as their own Doctors and also check out a first look at a villain featured in "The Day of the Doctor." (SPOILERS to follow)

Last week we were treated to the amazing prequel to the special, "The Night of the Doctor," featuring Paul McGann's eighth Doctor turning into John Hurt's mysterious Warrior Doctor. It answered plenty of questions and bridged an important gap.

Besides the Doctors, we also get some great new looks (thanks to these clips and some new photos) of Clara (Jenna Coleman), Rose Tyler (Billie Piper), Kate Stewart (Jemma Redgrave), and Joanna Page as Queen Elizabeth.

Check out the first clip, setting up just how Clara and the Doctor start their latest adventure. Oh and Matt Smith and David Tennant interact for the first time in the series towards the end!

The next clip features a news segment from BBC's morning talk show, BBC Breakfast, talking a bit about the 50th anniversary special, but we still get a great look at some new footage. Check out yet another special clip from The Day of the Doctor right here:

Also, check out some great new pictures from the upcoming episode RIGHT HERE!
