Celebrities and television personalities reacted to the death of comedian Yvette Wilson on Thursday who was best known for her role on the UPN show "Moesha." She was 48.
Wilson died after a lengthy and hard battle with cervical cancer and kidney disease, her friend Jeffrey Pittle told media.
Her Moesha co-star Shar Jackson confirmed her death.
"I wanna thank all my tweeties for their prayers but god has chosen to take my sister Yvette home.. ... " Jackson tweeted.

"R.I.P Yvette Wilson (Andell From The Parkers). She recently lost her battle with cancer. Life is short, so cherish yours," said Lauryn Hill.
"Yvette Wilson, star of moesha, dies at 48 wow R.I.P we will miss you!!! God bless her and her family," wrote comedian Jackie Long on the micro blogging site.
