Raj Hits The Kitchen in The Big Bang Theory's Season 7 Thanksgiving Episode

The Big Bang Theory will air its Thanksgiving episode, "The Thanksgiving Decoupling," at 8 p.m. on Thursday. The episode will put the entire crew inside Mrs. Wolowitz's house for Turkey Day, but things will not go smoothly and Raj will wind up in the kitchen!

Kunal Nayyar told the "Mega Buzz" column at TV Guide that that Raj will take over the cooking duties once Mama Wolowitz suffers an untimely accident:

The gang and Bernadette's father will head to Howard's mom's house for Thanksgiving on Thursday's episode, but it's Raj who winds up slaving away in the kitchen. 'Something happens to Mrs. Wolowitz. She's indisposed and she can't cook,' Kunal Nayyar tells us. 'So I end up doing all the cooking. But Raj is a great cook, no question.' Yum! But what happened to Mrs. Wolowitz? 'It's kind of crazy,' Nayyar teases."

With everything we know about Mrs. Wolowtiz, it's actually frightening to think of what possible scenarios could constitute "crazy" for her. The episode should also give Raj a chance to showcase his cooking skills. We know Raj has a taste for fancy cuisine, so it should provide some laughs to see how he changes a typical American Thanksgiving menu.

The official episode description reads: "Sheldon protests when the gang drags him to Mrs. Wolowitz's house for Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, Penny and Leonard must deal with a mistake from her past."

Promo videos revealed that that "mistake" is that she and her ex-boyfriend, Zack, are actually married!
