Until now I wanted to believe. Sure, "Work Bitch" was terrible. Sure, "Brightest Morning Star" didn't sound any better. But I wanted to believe that Britney Spears would not let the corrupting influence of Will.i.am turn her new album Britney Jean into a lowest common denominator-pandering sh*tshow of Apl de Ap proportions.
However, this just released sampler of all the tracks on Britney Jean has brought my nightmares to the forefront. In a bit of what I can only imagine is calculated revenge on the music industry, that soulless EDM-lite devil has taken Spears and turned her into Fergie (much in the same way Fergz turned BEP from a respected conscious-rap group to a schlock-peddling circus).
