Shannon & The Clams release 'Rat House' music video

I didn't get a chance to see Shannon & The Clams' when they passed through my hometown of St. Augustine last week, and few things could make me regret it more than the band's absolutely bonkers new video "Rat House."

The clip finds the surf-rock revivalists skateboarding around in terrifying outfits, all while a gorilla keeps time on a glitter-covered drumset with a pair of fried chicken legs. Not one bit of what I just said is an exaggeration. Check out the video below:

You may recognize some of the key players in this music video from your nightmares. Remember kids, drugs are a hell of a drug.
