Whitney Port is engaged to Tim Rosenman, Port's representative recently confirmed to People Magazine. Yes, the same Whitney we were just talking about as hosting Glamour's style competition series, "Dress to Kill." It's a big week for her.
The two have been dating since last year when Port had The Hills spinoff series, The City. Rosenman was an associate producer on the reality television show. Port had recently split up from Ben Nemtin, who created, executive produced and starred as a cast member in MTV's Buried Life.
Previously she's talked to People about having a relationship from "out of the spotlight" than her previously relationship with Nemtin. "It's very refreshing," Port told People of her relationship with Rosenman. "It's nice." Aside from the occasional paparazzi picture, she manages to keep Rosenman out of her personal pictures on her social media websites.
Port's also often been asked about her relationship with reality TV. She wouldn't go so far as to say The Hills "scarred me for life, but it definitely made a mark," Port said. The 28-year-old has lost touch with that crew, except for running into The Hills star Lauren Conrad, also in the fashion realm.
And even after The City, she said "I think I would do something fashion-related for sure," in reference to another reality show. "But I don't ever see myself doing something as intimate as what I did," Port added.
And that's exactly what she ended up doing less than a year later with "Dress to Kill." Watch one of the final episodes now.
Have you been following Port's professional or personal life? Are you so over the idea of "reality" stars?
