British Boy Band One Direction To Be Worth $100 Million?

One Direction is a worldwide sensation now. Two years ago, their name was unheard of and now, they are going the same direction that Justin Bieber had gone. As soon as the boy band came onto the scene, they took over the music charts, and fans can't get enough of them.

They are worth $50 million now according to the Sony Music UK chairman Nick Gatfield, and are expected to double their worth in the next year. The five guys are Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. Their rising earnings are reflected in their recent spendings. A few of the members have purchased property, with Zayn investing in a 2.2 million pounds house, and Louis in a 2.5 million pounds house. Harry spent 575,000 pounds for an East London property.

The boys are on a full and strenuous schedule rocking stages worldwide on their current Up All Night world tour. Another world tour is scheduled to start in February 2013 and their sophomore album should be ready before the end of 2012.

"We're trying to get it done. We're working on it at the moment — recording whenever we can and writing songs on the road. Hopefully, we can get it done before Christmas," said Niall Horan to Ryan Seacrest.
