Early Saturday a tour bus transporting members of Willie Nelson's band spun out of control in a storm and crashed into a Texas bridge pillar. According to the police and the band, three of the band's five members were injured. Willie Nelson was not on the bus.

Willie Nelson's website says that remaining tour dates have been postponed and the tour will resume as scheduled in December.

"No one suffered serious injuries. Paul English injured his ankle, Billy English suffered a bruised hip and crew member Tom Hawkins has a cracked rib. The other family members on the bus are sore but everyone is expected to recover fully," Nelson's website said.

It was reported earlier that English broke his hip.

The crash occurred on Interstate 30 outside Sulphur Springs as the bus driver was trying to navigate through heavy rains and winds. The crash occurred 80 miles east of Dallas at around 3:30 a.m.

"The driver stated that he had been driving through heavy, heavy rains and high winds and was having a difficult time driving," Trooper Sylvia Jennings said. "I guess at some point he lost control, went off the road and hit one of the columns of one of the overpasses."

According to the band's website, Willie Nelson and Family was scheduled to perform in Robinsonville, Mississippi, on Saturday, and in Jackson, Mississippi, on Sunday. The band's first performance still slated for Dec. 10 in Las Vegas.

We're glad no one was seriously injured. Hopefully they'll have a speedy recovery.
