According to a brand new viral marketing website from video game developer Bethesda, Fallout 4 will most likely be announced new week. The highly anticipated installment of the popular gaming series has been gaining a lot of ground in the rumor mill, especially with this new "Survivor2299" website popping up.

The website in question has been providing visitors with some incredibly cryptic updates, all of which seem to be pointing to Fallout 4. This has not been officially confirmed yet, so take the rest of this article's coverage with a grain of salt.

This website uses Morse code quite a bit and has given us some incredible messages, hinting at the arrival of the game.

One message, after deciphered, read:

"MY DEAR SISTER. I'M HEADING TO THE INSTITUTE. GOD KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE NOW. THIS OLD BASTARD WILL HELP US. HE MUST HELP US. -0321-"

And another read:

"Bridgeport (CT), this is Concord (MA), message: Quabbin Reservoir is hit, repeat, Quabbin Reservoir is hit"

These examples are incredibly cryptic and possibly gibberish to those unfamiliar with the Fallout series, but gamers have been confirming that these could easily be hints at the fourth installment of the series.

Gammasquad reports:

As Fallout fans know, the Massachusetts area is known as "The Commonwealth" post-Vault era, and other ARG materials make reference to the Institute, the one safe place in the whole irradiated, war-torn wasteland. And it seems obvious the game will be set in and around the Boston area, if for no other reason than this seems to be the done thing, lately.
