Every year you can expect to see the ball drop with the legendary productions in Times Square, and now ABC has started announcing who will be performing at the festivities during Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest to bring in 2014.
Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 10 p.m. EST, performances on the West Coast will include Jennifer Hudson, Robin Thicke, Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy and Jason Derulo. Fergie will host those events while Ryan Seacrest remains the main man for the ball drop in New York City at Times Square.
"As the New Year's Rockin' Eve legacy continues, it is an honor to be a part of the largest celebration of the year," said Fergie in ABC's announcement. "I am excited to share the stage with so many global stars."
There will be more performers on the West Coast and in New York that will be announced as the date gets closer. As a precursor to the countdown New Year's show, ABC will air a two-hour special from 8-10 p.m. EST, New Year's Rockin' Eve Presents the 30 Greatest Women in Music. The hilarious and outspoken Jenny McCarthy will join Fergie and Secreast. The release describes the show as featuring the "30 greatest female artists in music, through clips and interviews from the archives of Dick Clark Productions."
Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest is a presentation of Dick Clark productions. Allen Shapiro and Seacrest are executive producers for the program, Barry Adelman is the co-executive producer and Larry Klein is producer.
