Childish Gambino took to social media to tease fans with a sneak peek at his forthcoming album. In an Instagram video, Gambino gave a preview to the inner workings of his Because The Internet CD cover.
The inner workings of the cover include a holographic-designed case and a four-fold breakdown once you open the packaging.
Earlier this week, Gambino expressed how unhappy he was that the track "Sweatpants" was leaked early. How ironic, considering the album title.
After the song was released, Gambino tweeted:
"I'm pissed. This song was not supposed to come out tonight. I'm trying to create one of the more imaginative rollouts, and other people's lust for money and impatience is ruining it."
He went on to clarify that he was not referring to his fans, blogs or people who post his music after it leaks.
Earlier this year, Gambino released "Centipede," which was believed to be the first single off Because The Internet. Gambino has also released "Bed Peace," a collaboration with Jhene Aiko, and a short film called "Clapping for the Wrong Reasons" this year.
Because The Internet is slated to be released Dec. 10 and will feature Chance The Rapper, Jhene Aiko, and Azealia Banks.
Gambino, who is a comedian, actor and rapper, is also slated to write, executive produce and star in a new FX comedy.
It is believed that Because The Internet is set to be his follow-up to 2011's Camp.
