Looks like Suge Knight still hasn't been able to shake the image often associated with his Death Row Records past.
Knight was stopped by cops with their guns drawn on him in L.A. on Friday afternoon, in what wound up being a case of mistaken identity after the L.A.P.D. had received a report of an assault.
According to the department, Knight matched the description of the assailant.
Upon pulling him over, police jumped out of the cruisers and drew their weapons before realizing it was the wrong guy they had pulled over.
Knight accompanied the police back to the station where it was verified that he was not the man they were looking for.
The police now believe that the initial report may have been a hoax. However, Knight isn't too happy about how the whole thing went down.
It is rumored that Knight is now considering filing a lawsuit against the L.A.P.D. over what they are calling a misunderstanding.
But this wasn't Knight's first run in with the law. In the past few years, the former owner of Death Row Records has been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and also for marijuana possession.
Just this year, Knight skipped out on a court case and was arrested based upon an outstanding warrant because of a traffic stop violation back in September.
Knight is currently in the middle of a three-year unsupervised probation and his license is suspended.
What are your thoughts on this incident? Should Suge Knight sue the L.A.P.D.?
