Are you ready for nonstop fun, with Christmas stories, TV specials, and jingles of your favorite songs all month long? Well get ready, because America's favorite country singer, Carrie Underwood will be starring in, The Sound of Music Live, this Thursday on NBC.
Set your DVR for 8 p.m. to see, The Sound of Music Live. Carrie Underwood, Stephen Moyer, Audra McDonald, and more will perform a live version of the beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein stage classic.
Mercurynews.com, says that the Oscar and Emmy-winning producing team of Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Smash, Chicago) oversee the project, which has Underwood playing Maria and belting out timeless tunes like My Favorite Things and Do-Re-Mi.

SATURDAY: Lifetime, who already has a start to holiday movies, will bring a new film, Christmas in the City, which will show viewers of the network, a Santa being replaced by a hunky underwear model. 8 p.m., Lifetime.
