The Dec. 2, 2013 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw will emanate live from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City and will continue to build toward the TLC pay-per-view on Dec. 15.
The main match for the PPV is World Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs. WWE Champion Randy Orton with both titles on the line in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. So far, this is the only match on the card for TLC, but many questions remain. Will this be a true title unification match, or will one man simply hold both belts when the match is over? Another widely discussed possibility is that Cena will grab the WWE Championship belt and Orton will grab the World Heavyweight Championship, which would effectively just switch the belts to the other man.
Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Cena and Orton never uttered the word "unification" when the match was made last week on Raw, but Triple H said in a video interview on WWE.com with Michael Cole that he wants one champion to represent the company now that the brand extension has ended. Perhaps we will get some more clarification on the match tonight.
Paul Heyman, who has not been on WWE television for several weeks, is also advertised for tonight's edition of Raw, though he could appear via satellite or not at all.
WWE announcing legend Jim Ross has stated on Twitter that he will not be in attendance at tonight's show despite the fact that it will air from his home state. He will, however, be live tweeting during the show form his Twitter handle @JRsBBQ.
