Kanye West talks influences, production on 'Juan Epstein'

Kanye West gave one of his best interviews of the past few months on the Juan Epstein podcast. Turns out all you need to do to get a decent interview out of Yeezy is ask him interesting questions and let him breathe. As opposed to poking and prodding the Yeezus rapper, Peter and Cipha asked questions about Kanye's producer past, his future plans,his favorite beats and his undying love of Michael Jackson.

The whole thing is an interesting history/tech lesson with a bit of craziness and asides thrown in for people who can't sit through talk of working on drum sounds.

There is a fair amount of sucking up on the part of Peter and Cipha, and no doubt some people will accuse them of going easy on the rapper, but to the type of people who love the last eight minutes of "Last Call" and pore over the background motions of hip-hop, this interview is amazing.
