CM Punk took some time off earlier this year after WrestleMania 29 to rehabilitate some injuries, and "The Best in the World" is reportedly working through even more injuries as of last week.

PWInsider.com reports that CM Punk was sick and injured during the Friday Night Smackdown tapings last Tuesday when he fought Dean Ambrose of The Shield. There have reportedly been numerous concerns about Punk's health recently, and the man himself even tweeted the following on Thursday:

"For those wondering (nobody), yes, it's extremely painful and difficult (humbling as well) to dead lift with busted ribs. #whocares?"

Some also thought that Punk suffered a back injury during an episode of Monday Night Raw in late November, and there was also concern about a possible concussion. It's unclear how serious any of these potential injuries were and Punk only confirmed the rib injury.

As Wrestlezone.com points out, talk has persisted about CM Punk retiring in the next few years. Punk himself has said publicly that he does not want to stick around for too long and that he possibly only has two or three years left in the business.

PWInsider.com also reports that talk has begun about Alberto Del Rio retiring in the next two to three years.
