Paul Walker's funeral will be private, for family only, but the movie's cast and crew are also invited.
TMZ reports that sources connected with Paul's family say their biggest concern is Paul's 15-year-old daughter Meadow, who is understandably having a difficult time. They don't want a bunch of strangers surrounding the girl, because she needs to feel comfortable to grieve.
So the funeral will be by invitation only, and that list will include, the Fast and Furious family. Paul and his co-stars were extremely close and considered not only friends but also family. He would hang out with his cast mates outside of filming and they all have created a bond over time.
The family thinks that the funeral will help not only them, but also the cast in coping with Walker's death.
It's still unclear when the funeral will take place, and where. According to TMZ, a family source said sometime after the funeral there will be a larger memorial, but still just family and by invitation only.
James Wan, Fast and Furious director has made mention that the cast and crew are dealing with Walker's tragic death, and that the cast and crew will finish filming the movie.
Universal did confirm that they would be shutting down production indefinitely following Walker's death, now there is a change in plans, and they have now asked TMZ to give an update, with Wan saying of everybody involved in the movie: "They're pretty sad and very somber. But... we're all dealing with it."
The director announced that the movie will still be made, at sometime so fans stay tuned.
