Possible Goldust Gimmick Change?
Goldust answered some questions from fans on Twitter on Friday night and one fan asked him if there is "any chance we see you as just Dustin Rhodes as opposed to Goldust." The wrestler simply answered "No." The character has had a solid run in WWE since he returned this summer and currently holds the tag team titles with his brother, Cody Rhodes.
Fans may remember that Goldust delivered a worked shoot promo in WCW in late 1999 in which he took off his costume, called himself Dustin and railed against over-the-top gimmicks.
