Fans of the Louisiana super group Hot Boys may have to hold out a little while longer for a reunion. The group was slated to reunite last night (December 14th) but there seemed to be some tension between the Hot Boys.
Turk, who is no stranger to using the media to air out his frustrations, says he was looking forward to reuniting with his group members when it all came to a screeching halt.
According to Turk, Juvenile and Mannie Fresh suddenly changed their minds about having him on the bill.
In an interview with SOHH, Turk says he'd been promoting the concert for over a month when he received a call that told him Juve and Mannie didn't want him on the bill.
"Juve or Mannie's management called the promoter and told them either it's going to be them, which is Juve and Mannie Fresh, not showing up to the show or they would have to take me off and they're not getting their money back because they won't show up," Turk explained.
It's possible that Juve and Mannie are holding a grudge against their fellow Hot Boy for a viral video calling them out and YMCMB.
Turk insists there was no beef between his former crew for not supporting him during his father's passing but the pair may have a different take on the situation.
Here's what Turk had to say:
"To make a long story short, it ain't no beef. I'm not dissing them. If we're gonna get money together, let's get money together. I never had nothing personal against none of these guys."
