Lorde announces North American tour 2014 in support of debut album 'Pure Heroine': 'Royals' singer to kick off 16 date tour on March 3 [FULL SCHEDULE]

Rising pop superstar Lorde has arguably been the "Queen Bee" of 2013. With her debut single "Royals" launching to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks in a row, besting singles from Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and even Eminem. Now, the Pure Heroine songstress is looking to bring that momentum into the new year. Today (Dec. 16), Lorde announced a string of North American tour dates in support of her debut album.

According to Under the Gun, the 16-date trek will begin in Austin on Mar. 3 and will then continue throughout the month before wrapping up in Oakland, Calif., on Mar. 26.

The tour will find Lorde all across the United States and Canada, playing theaters and ballrooms in cities such as New York, Toronto and Chicago.
