After months of #30Gold releases, showcasing the young rapper's talents over other folks' beats, Angel Haze is finally ready to drop her official debut album Dirty Gold. Haze's first major venture will hit shelves on March 3. Along with the announcement, Haze has dropped a lyric video for a new song called "A Tribe Called Red."
Check out the propulsive (and, well... tribal) track below:
Personally, I'm excited to see Haze kill it on her own terms after months of making other MC's look like fools on their own cuts, Unfortunately, previous fan favorites "Working Girls", "No Bueno" and "Initiation" won't appear on Dirty Gold, though "Echelon" made the cut.
Dirty Gold Tracklist
01 "Sing About Me"
02 "Echelon (It's My Way)"
03 "A Tribe Called Red"
04 "Deep Sea Diver"
05 "Synagogue"
06 "Angel + Airwaves"
07 "April's Fools"
08 "White Lillies / White Lies"
09 "Battle Cry"
10 "Black Dahlia"
11 "Planes Fly"
12 "Dirty Gold"
The lack of features is quite a statement, similar to blog-buzz-artist-turned-rap-kingpin Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d. city.
What do you think? Are you excited for Angel Haze's debut album?
