Beyonce debuts "XO" music video from surprise new album

So it is written, so it shall be done. The videos from Beyonce's new album BEYONCE continue to make their way onto the YouTube for those of us who don't have 16 bucks laying around. The latest, which has been confirmed as the albums first single. is "XO": a buoyant, at times dancehall-inflected clip set during a fun-filled day at Coney Island.

The video is the first thing in about a half-century to have Terry Richardson's name on it and not feature naked ladies/ a creepy sense of voyeurism.

Beyonce's surprise "visual album" has moved between 677,000 and 828,000 units in three days, depending on who you talk to. If the reports from NME are true, Beyonce broke an iTunes sales record and almost went platinum in a three-day sales period. If these numbers are true, Beyonce will undoubtedly have the fastest-selling album of the year (and the biggest opening week of 2013 when expanded to seven days).
