Kelly Rowland Engagement Details Finally Confirmed: Proposal to Tim Witherspoon happened over Skype, Engaged couple together for years, Beyonce maid-of-honor?

Queen Latifah is the first person to get out an official confirmation of singer Kelly Rowland's engagement to her manager Tim Witherspoon. The singer "Kisses Down Low" singer opened up about the simple proposal on "The Queen Latifah Show" and admitted that she kept the secret for years.

Kelly confirmed to the talk show host, "He put a ring on it (smiles). Yes, it's official. It's been a while....we've kept it very very low for years, to be completely honest."

Although, some proposals are extravagant to the Kanye West-Kim Kardashian level, Kelly gushed about the simple proposal over her laptop, "Um, it actually happened on Skype...he asked me first on Skype. And I was like, 'we're so far away from each other.' I was in like Bulgaria somewhere. But it was so late." She added, "I remember we were both kinda like, just honestly, just staring at each other. ANd he asked me and it was just that simple to say yes. I was like, I got my BEST friend, my best friend to ride through life with."

The singer previously shut down announcing her engagement on the "Aresnio Hall Show" telling the host, "You know what I will say? I am very happy and I believe in Black Love. I'm so happy," she said.

Whens he was asked about her ring, Rowland didn't dance around the question and responded, "Oh stop it now. You know how private I am."
