The upcoming first-person, open-world zombie platform, Dying Light, has previously released trailers including gameplay footage, but today we're treated to 9 minutes of new video. In this new gameplay walkthrough, gamers can get a glimpse at this new take on the zombie shooter and see just how dangerous this game's bloodthirsty antagonists are in the dark.

Check out this new video of Dying Light right here and let us know what you think of it in the comments section below:

Here is the video's description, detailing the gameplay:

Slow, apathetic, and easily visible, the infected are not much of a threat in daylight. But this relatively safe state of affairs is turned upside down as the sun sets. At night, it is you who is at a disadvantage. Without daylight, the senses of the infected become more acute while their thirst for human flesh skyrockets. They run, jump, and climb, so there is really no place where you are safe anymore. What tactics will you use to survive the night?

Plenty of reviews for this game from the limited amount of advanced demos have concluded that this could be one heck of a scary video game. This is a race against the sun as you navigate a zombie-infested area trying to find supplies and survivors. One the sun sets, however, you have to run for your life since the zombies get more powerful.

Available for Xbox, Playstation and Windows, Dyling Light hits stores in 2014 and promises to be a breath of fresh air in the zombie gaming platform. Though it still has a chance to bomb, thus becoming a pretty big disappointment.
