Miley Cyrus, Barbara Walter 'Most Fascinating' Interview: Miley embarassed of smiling, Twerker sticks out tounge when uncomfortable

Miley Cyrus explained to Barbara Walter's that as raunchy as she appears, she gets uncomfortable and feels the need to stick out her tongue in photos to cover up her true feelings.

 "I get embarrassed to take pictures. That's actually the truth," Cyrus told Walters. The "Wrecking Ball" singer was chosen for the ABC News special, "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013."

The former Disney star admitted that she gets flustered when she is asked to take pictures, "I'm so embarrassed, because people are taking pictures of me, and I just don't know how to- I don't know how to smile, and just be awkward, so I stick my tongue out, because I don't know what else to do," she said.

The singer was chosen as one of Walter's most fascinating people of 2013 after her breakthrough year for breaking VEVO's most watched music video for "Wrecking Ball" -which accumulated 414 million views- and most talked about her MTV VH1 performance with Robin Thicke.
