Smackdown Spoilers 12/20/13: WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results Dec. 20 2013: John Cena and CM Punk Face The Shield, Daniel Bryan vs. The Wyatt Family

WWE taped the Dec. 20, 2013 edition of Friday Night Smackdown on Wednesday and featured John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, CM Punk and more.

The show begins with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton making his way to the ring. He says that winning the unified championship brought him nothing but a match with Daniel Bryan on Monday Night Raw. Cena interrupts Orton and says he came out to stop Orton from looking like a fool. He says that everyone is gunning for Orton now that he is champion and calls him a coward for taking the easy way out and winning by disqualification against Bryan on Monday.

Bryan comes out to a huge pop and says that Orton is afraid of losing to him. He says that when Cena will win when he gets his rematch against Orton and then Cena will grant him a title shot. The Shield then comes out to attack Bryan and Cena, but CM Punk hits the ring to make the save. Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero comes out to her usual massive heat and announces that the main event will be a six-man tag team match between The Shield and Bryan, Punk and Cena.

Big E. Langston defeats Jack Swagger relatively quickly with the Big Ending.

Brie Bella defeats Tamina Snuka with AJ Lee on commentary. Brie rolls up Tamina for the win and then shoves AJ at ringside.

Bad News Barrett cuts a promo at ringside.

Sin Cara defeats Drew McIntyre.

Tensai defeats Brodus Clay after the Funkadactyls and Xavier Woods distract him. Xavier Woods and Tensai clear the ring after the match.

Erick Rowan and Luke Harper defeat Cody Rhodes and Goldust in a non-title match. The Wyatts try to attack after the match but Bryan comes out to make the save, which leads to a six-man tag team match between the entire Wyatt Family and The Rhodes Brothers and Bryan. The faces win the match after Bryan hits the running knee to win.

Damien Sandow cuts a promo about canceling Christmas. The Miz comes out and says they celebrate Christmas where he comes from and this leads to a match between the two. Sandow rolls up Miz and hooks the tights for the win.

Fandango defeats Kofi Kingston with the top rope leg drop.

Renee Young interviews Daniel Bryan backstage but The Wyatt Family attacks. They beat him and throw him off a ledge, which puts him out of commission for the main event.

John Cena and CM Punk defeat The Shield in a 3-on-2 handicap match by disqualification when The Shield gang up on Punk to get disqualified. The Shield assault Punk and then triple powerbomb Cena. Big E. Langston rushes out to make the save and stares down Roman Reigns as the show goes off the air.

After the show, Orton comes out and says he would grant Cena a rematch on the spot, and Cena wins the dark match by disqualification.
