We've got a whole host of WWE spoilers today, including WrestleMania 30 news on Hulk Hogan, Batista and Rob Van Dam, Royal Rumble plans for Roman Reigns, Wyatt Family news and possible heat on CM Punk.
First, F4WOnline.com reports that many within WWE believe that Hulk Hogan will return to the company in some capacity for WrestleMania 30, though he has yet to sign a deal with the company as of this writing. WWE officials do not expect him to wrestle at the show because he likely would not pass the required medical tests for in-ring action. There had been some rumors that he would team with John Cena for a tag team match, but now it seems that the Hulkster could do a run-in and maybe take down a heel and then cut a promo.
The site also reports that WWE is interested in bringing back Batista for WrestleMania 30 and the company could weave him into a storyline for the event if he wanted to come back. Finally, there are no plans at the moment for Rob Van Dam to be a part of the Showcase of the Immortals, though that could change if RVD decides to return from his hiatus.
Roman Reigns Royal Rumble 2014 Plans
The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE has something big in store for Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble in January. The site notes that, at the moment, those plans are even larger than previously reported. It's unclear exactly what those plans are (like his winning the Rumble or setting a time or elimination record), but this story will likely evolve in the coming weeks.
Backstage Heat on CM Punk?
After news of the Michelle Beadle and AJ Lee incident broke on Sunday, CM Punk (who was also reportedly involved in the altercation) sent out a tweet later that day about hockey. According to The Wrestling Observer, WWE officials supposedly got upset that he did this instead of tweeting something about the TLC pay-per-view later that night.
More Backstage News on Seattle Raw Ending
The ending of Monday Night Raw before TLC devolved into chaos as fans relentlessly chanted for Daniel Bryan and the wrestlers in the ring started a brawl. But according to The Wrestling Observer, that final segment went down in a way that was much different from the scripted finish.
WWE officials supposedly expected Bryan to get a huge pop because of his Washington roots, but they did not expect the reaction to be as loud or overwhelming as it was. Furthermore, the officials praised John Cena afterwards for his recognition of the crowd's reactions by working Bryan into his promo and then bringing the focus back to himself and Orton and the TLC title match.
Wyatt Family Getting Gold?
PWInsider.com reports that WWE officials are discussing putting the Tag Team Championships onto Erick Rowan and Luke Harper of The Wyatt Family before the Royal Rumble in January. The two were reportedly the favorites to hold the belts to go into WrestleMania 30, but the company might accelerate that plan a bit.
