The Breakfast Club partners with Revolt TV, announces new show

Revolt TV is making sure it covers all things hip-hop so it's only right to partner with Power 105's Breakfast Club.

That's right. The hip-hop trio is making its way to the silver screen.

The Breakfast Club will be taking their morning show to Diddy's new television channel Revolt. The show will broadcast every morning.

The new partnership with Clear Channel radio will allow the show's hosts, DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee, to be seen by all from 6AM-10AM on the new channel starting March 3, 2014.

Here's what Revolt's CEO Keith Clinkscales had to say about the new deal:

"We are proud of this new partnership with Clear Channel; adding radio as a medium to REVOLT arsenal will help push the traditional boundaries of music television and expand our reach even further with millions of new listeners and viewers which is incredible for a fledgling network."

The Breakfast Club was launched in December 2010 and has since been named the No. 1 radio program in the nation by The Source magazine. It is regarded as one of the most informative and entertaining urban morning shows today.

Reps from Clear Channel seem excited about the deal as well.

"Taking this award-winning Power 105 morning show and extending its reach to television reinforces Clear Channel['s] position as a preeminent multi-platform entertainment company," said John Sykes, president of Entertainment Enterprises for Clear Channel.
