It's safe to assume that Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner are at least more than just friends, but the young couple have yet to actually confirm the relationship. But this just means that there is plenty of time to speculate still! The latest story surrounding these two lovebirds is that Harry's One Direction bandmate set the two up on a date, thus leading to all of the gossip.

"Kendall was friends with Niall first, and he was actually the one who set the whole thing up," a source recently said to Star. Niall thought they would make a great couple and suggested that they go out to dinner to see if they had any chemistry."

Another interesting story coming out of the latest dating gossip of Harry Styles is that Kendall apparently spent years trying to nab the pop star for herself.

The Slip reports:

"According to the gossip pages, not only are the two hot and heavy, but Kendall had her sights set on Harry long before he was even a gleam in Taylor Swift's eye. Something called The Daily Star is reporting that Kendall plotted for no less than two years to bag her boy-man Harry."

Meanwhile, Harry seems to be on pretty good terms with his most famous ex, Taylor Swift. According to another insider, the two exchange text messages that are sometimes flirtatious!

"If Taylor wants to be friends, that's fine--he will even help her find a house in London and lend her a hand," the source said. "Sometimes they even flirt a little via text, when Harry's in a good mood. But for her to think they have a chance of getting back together is just crazy. Harry has way too many other options. Besides, he is completely done with Taylor."
