Watch this brand new fan-made 'Iron Man' animated short featuring new armor design

There may be three huge blockbuster films focusing on Iron Man (four if you're counting Marvel's The Avengers), but with these adaptations come plenty of criticism. So what if a fan of the series decided to show off some animation skill and create a short video clip that some could consider better than the films? In a new clip made by fan Anthony McGrath, we see just how an animated Iron Man could look better than the blockbusters we're familiar with.

Sure this is all a matter of taste and perspective, but if you take this great project and turn it into a television show, you've got a success on your hands! This video is already making the rounds, becoming a viral hit and making plenty of people rethink the cool parts of the Iron Man movies.

Over the last couple of years, fan-made trailers and projects like this have taken over the Internet. This is just another great example of how certain fans get things right more often than Hollywood.

Considering Robert Downey Jr. is a little hesitant about making a fourth Iron Man movie, Marvel should get in contact with McGrath to explore more options. Perhaps an animated series on Disney XD or something like that? We know that Marvel teamed up with Netflix recently, too, so that could work into this don't you think?
