Legendary Queens duo Mobb Deep recently stopped by the Huffington Post to drop some gems and make some surprise announcements for their fans.
During their visit, the duo announced the release of their new album The Infamous Mobb Deep. The album is set to be released in March 2014.
The duo is celebrating 20 years in the rap game and even announced that they would be going on tour.
As for their upcoming album, the Queens MCs will be dropping a double disc project. The album will feature new music and 10 unreleased tracks from their debut album The Infamous.
The album is also slated to feature unreleased verses from hip-hop heavyweights like Nas, Raekwon, GhostFacedKillah and more.
Prodigy and Havoc will begin touring in support of their new album starting Friday, January 10, 2014 in San Diego, CA. The tour is expected to touch down in 31 cities across the country. Other stops on the tour include Philadelphia, New York, Atlanta, and Seattle.
Tickets went on sale yesterday (Dec. 20), but fans can RSVP for access to VIP tickets right now by signing up on the group's website. The group also plans to hit venues outside of the U.S., including a European tour this summer. Dates for these shows will be announced in the near future.
