Did Felicity Jones confirm that Black Cat is in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'?

Felicity Jones has a part in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as Harry Osborn's (Dane DeHaan) girlfriend. Fans have speculated that Jones could play Felicia Hardy, who eventually becomes the costumed character Black Cat. Others think she could be Lily Hollister, who becomes the villain Menace. Either way, Jones has confirmed that she has a costume in the movie.

In an interview with Collider, Jones (who ordinarily does smaller, independent films) said that she wanted to do a big-budget movie such as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 because there's more time to work and massive sets. She described herself as "a kid in a playground" during Marc Webb's filming.

The site then asked her if there's a code of silence with regard to the plots of big-budget, highly anticipated movies:

"When you work on something like that for a big studio, is there a moment where they pull you aside and say, 'Don't tell anyone about the story,' or is that just inferred?

I think that that's inferred, mostly.  You want to protect the story that you're telling, and I guess that's the reason."

But immediately after that, Jones seemingly let a secret slip through the cracks:

"Did you have a say in your costumes for that?

Oh, yeah, totally!  Absolutely!  It's a medium that's very collaborative.  Actors and directors work on things together.  That's how I like to work, anyway.  I don't want to be told what to do.  I want to share it with someone and work it out together.  You know that person better than anyone.  That's my job."

Jones did not offer any details about the costume, but it seems likely now that she will portray one of the two aforementioned female Marvel characters.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2, 2014.
