2 Chainz seemingly changed his name and created a new career and fans base for himself all while leaving his partner in crime in the dust but it looks like things are about to change.

That's right. Fans of Playaz Circle are in for a treat as the duo is in the studio working together again.

During his Playaz Circle days, 2 Chainz was known as Tity Boi and Dolla Boy was his accomplice.

In a recent interview with The Ricky Smiley Morning Show, 2 Chainz hinted at some new work and even mentioned his old partner.

Here's what he had to say:

"Yeah, I was with Dolla at the studio last night. We never stop working. You never know what can happen. I'm definitely going to be working on this T.R.U. imprint. Me and him got this dope record that I want to use for it. So, I don't know if I'm gonna do a mixtape. I don't know what I'm gonna do next, but definitely be looking out for something."

Playaz Circle most recent and notable hit was their 2007 hit "Duffle Bag Boy." The song featured Lil Wayne on the hook.

Maybe 2 Chainz will let Dolla Boy come on the road with him when he kicks off his tour. "Duffle Bag Boy" is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

2 Chainz is slated to hit the road for a two-month long American tour in support of his new album B.O.A.T.S II: Me Time beginning in February 2014.
