Chrissy Teigen deletes choking Instagram video

Social media is supposed to be an outlet for celebs to connect with their fans on a more personal level. Since Instagram added it video feature, celebs have used it for various purposes, mostly to show off their funny side but sometimes it backfires and model Chrissy Teigen now knows this all too well.

Teigen's recent Instagram video upload, which turned out to be a joke, raised some concerns from many of her followers.

The clip features Teigen and her husband R&B soul singer John Legend. In the video, Legend can be seen grabbing Teigen by her throat while she wished her fans "Merry Christmas."

To Teigen's followers the clip seemed real and even disturbing. During the clip, the camera changes focus and Legend is seen closing his hand around her neck. Teigen struggled and fought back while crying out for help.

Once the clip was posted, comments started pouring in and the video began attracting attention outside of the photo/video sharing app.

The "joke" was not taken lightly and many critics even called the prank tasteless. Shortly after Teigen noticed the negative attention the video was getting, she removed the video from her Instagram timeline.

But this isn't the first time Teigen has taken an Instagram joke too far. Back in October, she posted a video that she coined "raspberry vagina."

The video featured an obscene gesture and an offensive sexual innuendo. The video shows Teigen blowing an actual raspberry into another model's crotch while another unidentified person explained the terminology.
