The hip-hop world took a surprising and untimely lost yesterday (Dec. 28) with the death of up and coming Hustle Gang rapper Doe B. The news of his death came as a shock as the rapper was very well on his way to stardom.
DJ Frank White, Doe B's manager, recently released a statement regarding the death of his friend and client.
In a statement to HipHopDX, DJ Frank White had this to say:
"The world has lost a great person and a genius artist way to soon."
DJ Frank White then went on to say that there is an extensive collection of music by Doe B that is yet to be released.
"Doe's work ethic was incredible. He still has over 200 unreleased hits. His memory will live on."
The Blueprint Group, which also worked with the Alabama rapper, has also issued a statement of condolences. The statement reads:
"Doe B was an amazing young man, in every sense of the word. A truly talented artist, a loving father and a dedicated member of the Hip Hop community at large, he touched the lives of the many people who had the privilege of knowing him. The Blueprint Group offers our condolences to our Doe B label partners Interscope / Hustle Gang, his management DJ Frank White and Brooklyn Knights, and most of all his family, friends and fans at this very difficult time. We ask that you remember him not by his untimely death, but by his love of life and the music he left behind."
Doe B was reportedly shot and killed yesterday (Dec. 28) morning at a performance in Alabama. He was 22 years old.
