Azealia Banks has revealed in a Twitter Q&A that her long-awaited debut album Broke With Expensive Taste will finally drop in March of this year (personally, we'll believe it when we see it). While most of the talk centered around her new album, Banks couldn't miss an opportunity to do what she's most famous for. She reignited her beef with UK dance music duo Disclosure, claiming that the beat created in their disastrous 2013 collaboration wasn't even worth the fuss.
"The beat really isn't that good tbh," she wrote. "I'll probably put 'Bizarra' on another beat and release it later."
Banks claims that the move to push BWET back yet again (last we heard, it was dropping this month) was a decision that her label made. Apparently, they weren't happy using "Soda" as a lead single and have opted for another track called "Chasing Time."
@LittleBambi1991 the label changed their mind. :) The first single is gonna be "chasing time" and not "soda"!!!!!

Of course, when you start talking about a first single from an album that has been delayed this long, you are only going to get more questions. Banks' fans were left asking if previous releases like "Yung Rapunxel" and "ATM Jam" were getting the ax from the album. No word from Banks on that but she has been talking about new collaborations with Ariel Pink and Busta Rhymes.
What do you think? Will 2013 be the year we finally get to hear Broke With Expensive Taste?
Sound off in the comments.
