Batista will make his return to WWE on the Jan. 20, 2014 edition of Monday Night Raw, the go-home show for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday, Jan. 26. Some fans are happy and others not so much, but almost all are wondering how long he would stick around with the company. Is it simply a program for WrestleMania 30, or is Batista back for one last prolonged run in WWE?
According to F4WOnline.com, Batista's return is considered as "one last run" for the Animal, though reports conflict as to the actual length of his stay. Some reports claim his new contract only runs through WrestleMania, while others maintain that he will be in the company until SummerSlam. But F4WOnline reports that Batista is back for at least two years for this final run.
And speaking of Batista, PWInsider.com reports that The Animal is currently the favorite to win the Royal Rumble match on Jan. 26 and go on to challenge WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton at WrestleMania 30. If true, then this would mean that Batista would return as a face rather than a heel, unless WWE decides to run with a heel vs. heel program. Then again, Vince McMahon reportedly said recently that there are no more faces and heels in the company anymore, so there's that.
What do you think, WWE fans? How long do you think Batista will or should be back for his run? Do you think he should win the Royal Rumble? Let us know in the comments below.
