Gabrielle Union is back! 'Being Mary Jane' premieres on BET Tuesday Jan. 7

She's back! Being Mary Jane is back on BET, Tuesday Jan. 7. For all you Olivia Pope fans experiencing Scandal withdrawal, no worries a new woman is back in town and she goes by the name of, Mary Jane Paul.

The new BET drama, created by Mara Brock Akil, who also produced Girlfriends and The Game, is sure to keep your DVR full.

Gabrielle Union stars as Mary Jane Paul, a TV anchor, who seems to have it all, beauty, brains and the profession, but deep down inside she is lonely, and has a complicated personal life.

Paul will discover that the man she has been planning to build a life with already has one with another woman.

The cast includes, Margaret Avery, as the sick mother, Richard Roundtree, as her father, Lisa Vidal as Kara, the TV producer and close friend, Omari Hardwick who Paul is madly in love with.
