When it comes to giving advice on dealing with relationships gone sour and being a reality star, Bruce Jenner may be a good person to lend an ear to. Lamar Odom better listen up.

2013 wasn't smooth sailing for Odom or Jenner. Both separated from their wives and Odom battled with an alleged crack cocaine addiction. But it the midst of it all, Bruce found it in his heart to try to steer Lamar in the right direction.

According to a source, Bruce told Lamar to "hope for the best but expect the worst when it comes to that show and what they're going to reveal because this is how they survive - by putting everything on the table."

That's interesting coming from the Olympic gold medalist who was once keeping up with the Kardashians.

The source also told Hollywood Life that the two spent an hour on the phone on New Year's Day.

Bruce also told Lamar "to forget about everything that happened in 2013 and not drag all the drama, defeats and embarrassments with him."

Lamar fears that his soon-to-be-ex-wife will reveal details about his alleged cheating and drug use on the upcoming season of KUWTK.

Bruce advised Lamar "to stay off the websites and turn the TV off and not listen to gossip about him." Bruce ensured Lamar that "it will eat you alive and ruin any progress if you stay in the past."
