Original Chewbacca actor Peter Mayhew posts exclusive behind-the-scenes set photos of Han Solo & more from 'Star Wars' trilogy filming on Twitter

Peter Mayhew portrayed the character of Chewbacca in the original Star Wars trilogy and has forever become an icon to fans all over the world. These days the actor has had his fair share of health issues due to his immense stature, but has kept his spirits up and those of his fans on the popular social media website, Twitter. His latest tweets involved a large collection of set photos from his days filming the original trilogy. Let's take a look at some of the photos the actor decided to share with us!

Though these are mostly just pictures tweeted to his followers, the actor added a bit of backstory to some with plenty of humor. Mayhew also teased a never-before-seen character that might show up in 2015's Episode VII! Though this is just conjecture at this point.
