Smackdown Spoilers 1/17/14: WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results Jan. 17, 2014: Kane confronts CM Punk, New Age Outlaws in action and Big Show goes after Paul Heyman

WWE taped the Jan. 17, 2014 edition of Friday Night Smackdown on Tuesday in Worcester, Mass., and the episode features CM Punk, The New Age Outlaws, Big Show, Paul Heyman and more.

The New Age Outlaws defeat the WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust in a non-title match when Billy Gunn rolls up Cody and grabs his tights. Vickie Guerrero come out to interrupt the match near the end and says that the Royal Rumble match will be every man for himself, including brother against brother and friend against friend. It's unclear if this means that the Outlaws would be in the match.

CM Punk calls out The Shield.

Paul Heyman comes out and cuts a promo about Brock Lesnar defeating Big Show at Royal Rumble. Big Show cuts him off and chases him out of the ring. He says he was a Paul Heyman Guy before it was cool to be a Paul Heyman Guy and swears to knock out Lesnar at the pay-per-view.

Rey Mysterio defeats Alberto Del Rio to avenge his loss on Monday Night Raw. Del Rio assaults him with the Cross Arm Breaker after the match.

Naomi defeats Tamina Snuka.

The Wyatt Family comes out and Bray Wyatt cuts a promo about growing up and about Sister Abigail. He says he tried to give Daniel Bryan a chance at rebirth, but he will burn instead.

CM Punk has another backstage segment and he calls out both The Shield and The New Age Outlaws. He calls it a chance for The Authority to do whatever it wants to do.

Big E. Langston defeats Fandango.

The Usos defeat The Real Americans, with Zeb Colter in a wheelchair at ringside to continue selling The Big Show's attack on Raw.

CM Punk comes out to the ring and calls the Authority cowards. He says Triple H hides behind his wife, Stephanie McMahon, and The Shield comes out through the crowd. As they do so, The New Age Outlaws come down the ramp to surround the ring.

Kane comes out and tells everyone to calm down. He tells Punk that he is in the Royal Rumble match because they want him to be in the main event at WrestleMania 30. Kane says his new objective is to make sure that Punk gets all the respect that he deserves. Punk talks trash to Kane, and everyone beats down The Best in The World. Kane choke slams Punk to end the show.
